Learn the skills needed to become a confident visual storyteller and media maker. Students will learn the foundation skills of shooting video, recording sound and using lighting for dramatic effect. Students will also learn to use contemporary postproduction software including Adobe Premiere Pro and other leading editing software. These tools, combined with visual storytelling skills, will prepare students for work in innovated jobs related to streaming video and online productions.

THURSDAY 5:00PM - 7:00 PM --- February 3rd to April 21st
Learn the fundamentals of video production while becoming a part of a vibrant supportive community of other young filmmakers from the Pomona Valley. The class meets for 12 weeks and by the end of it, you will walk away with an experience you can use towards a future career, internships, and college applications. By participating in the Mentoring Arts & Culture, Young Filmakers of Tomorrow, you are eligible to receive up to a $500 scholarship prize.
